Veronika Zamecnikova, Founder of Pill Creative Studio™
Veronika Zamecnikova is the founder and creative director of Pill Creative Studio™, a strategy-led branding agency with studios in Los Angeles and New York. She has spent her career at the intersection of brand strategy, design, and marketing, helping companies define what makes them different and build brands around it.
From Prague to Los Angeles
Originally from Prague, Veronika began her career in marketing as a brand manager for BMW in the Czech Republic, where she built a foundation in brand strategy, consistency, and how a brand shows up across every touchpoint.
In 2014, she moved to the United States, where she worked with fashion brands including Ralph Lauren and Kenneth Cole. That experience sharpened her eye for design and taught her how premium brands earn recognition and loyalty.
Founding Pill Creative Studio™
In 2020, Veronika founded Pill Creative Studio™ to bring senior-level branding to startups and growing companies without the overhead of a large agency. The studio launched just before the COVID-19 pandemic and grew quickly, later expanding from Los Angeles to a second studio in New York.
Today, Pill Creative Studio™ works with clients across the U.S. and worldwide, from early-stage founders to established organizations including Wella, Neudesic (an IBM Company), NBCUniversal, Harvard Law School, and Stanford Medicine. The studio has been named a top women-owned business by Clutch and recognized by The Manifest as one of the most-reviewed branding agencies.
Her Approach to Branding
Veronika believes the best brands don’t follow what everyone else in their category is doing. Every project starts with strategy: understanding the business, its audience, and its competitors, then defining a clear position before any design begins. The result is a brand with a point of view and a reason behind every decision.
She stays directly involved in the work, from the first strategy conversation through creative direction and launch, so clients work with the people shaping their brand, not layers of account managers.
